invisibility at its finest….
or so we think. I used to think covering my eyes would shield and hide me from the world. Boy, was I wrong.
it’s not defeating but instead fleeting and inspirational. Keeping our eyes open to the world and always being ready and willing for change.

gosh, it’s been a minute since i have posted but mostly been a minute since I have been back to visit this tree that has meant so much to me on my photography journey.
I can remember taking time in between shoots to just come and photograph this tree and sit beneath the tree, even went on 30 mile bike ride to the tree just to relish in all it’s beauty, and all it meant to me.
one of my very first sessions with this tree was in 2004 with film. I later brought my best friend( )from high school and photographed her with the tree in film.
life is so short and i oftentimes forget to just stop and appreciate the beauty in it all but am so grateful to be able to come back to ohio and even more so to see my old friend; my beautiful tree
