When someone looked me in the eyes and said, “I hate you,” my heart sank. 💔

I couldn’t speak.
I couldn’t defend myself.
I couldn’t even find the words to respond.

All I could do was cry.

I felt physically sick as I stood up and walked away, trying to hold together a heart that had just shattered.

Those were words I never imagined I would hear from someone I cared about.
Some words leave bruises you can’t see, and no matter how much time passes, you will never forget the moment they were spoken.

The lesson I learned? Not every wound needs revenge, and not every goodbye needs an explanation.

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is walk away, protect your peace, and never allow someone else’s hatred to become your own. Healing begins the moment you choose yourself. ❤️‍🩹

Sometimes the most overlooked streets have the loudest stories.

Today I wandered through one of Columbus “dangerous” neighborhoods. Which I am not to judge it, but to witness it. Every cracked sidewalk, faded building, and forgotten corner holds someone’s history. Then I found the 8 of Spades.
To me, the 8 of Spades is a reminder that growth often comes through hardship. It represents resilience, endurance, and the quiet strength to keep moving forward even when life feels stacked up against you.

As we may not understand that Photography isn’t just about beautiful places.
It’s about finding meaning where others stop looking.
