September 10th • Best Walt Disney World Resort food for under $10

Next up in this series: the Cheeseburger Spring Roll from the Spring Roll Cart in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom. A true Disney staple.

This is one of those items that when you tell people you went to Disney World, they’re going to ask if you tried it.

I’d call it more of a snack than a full meal, but it’s absolutely earning its spot on this list. Try it and report back.

Free park admission no ticket needed for any of the 4 theme parks or 2 water parks. Free rides no Lightning Lane pass required. Free dining at buffet and family style restaurants when eating from your plate, and at character dining too.

And here’s the part that surprises people most: this isn’t a discount, it’s genuinely free. Your toddler isn’t a ticketed guest until their 3rd birthday and if that birthday happens to fall in the middle of your trip, they stay free through the rest of your stay.

Save this before you start pricing out your trip.

The #1 item in my park bag that’s non-negotiable? A fan.

Does she ever actually point it at herself? Never. She kicks it. She puts her feet on it like it’s an ottoman. She’ll aim it at the stroller canopy, the ground, her neighbor anywhere except her own face. Doesn’t matter. It’s still the first thing we make sure we have when we leave the resort.

Florida heat doesn’t care that your toddler has other plans for the fan. Bring it anyway.

If your Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party gets interrupted by the rain, you have options!!!

Disney occasionally offers what’s called a “rain check”. This is in the event rain significantly disrupts your party. Meaning a canceled parade, canceled fireworks, or canceled stage show.

If you find yourself in this situation you’ll want to go to Guest Relations at City Hall, near the entrance of the Magic Kingdom. Located between the train station and fire station.

If it’s available for your party, you could receive a comped park day or a ticket to another party night.

This however is of course never guaranteed, and it’s decided case-by-case. It never hurts to ask.

Disney World stroller tips nobody tells first-time moms: here’s what your stroller is actually doing for you at Walt Disney World (and it has nothing to do with your kid being “lazy”).

It’s a nap zone; midday sleep happens without rushing back to the resort, and it doubles as shade.

It’s our girl’s home base; somewhere safe to come back to when she no longer wants to be held. She can explore Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, or Hollywood Studios on her own terms.

It’s our butler; snacks, water, extra layers, souvenirs, lunch, all of it rides along so you’re not the one hauling everything through the park.

It’s always an available seat in line, at a restaurant, during a parade, one less thing to worry about.

It’s a camera stand, a hands-free spot to prop your phone so the whole family actually makes it into the photo anywhere you want.

I’ve never regretted bringing the stroller to Disney World. I have regretted not bringing it.
