Our amazing venue was none other than the stunning Blackberry Hill Wedding Barn. They said yes to all of my crazy ideas, helped with so many things and gave us a gorgeous location for photos. Seriously, if you are planning a grad party or event, check them out ASAP before they book up!
And our sweetest assistant- CayPops! As always, she took our theme and made the perfect dessert for our table shot.
Thank you as well to all of the reps and parents who helped us to pull off our biggest styled shoot to date. 45 teenagers in under 2 hours and it all looks effortless and perfect!
Oh, and I guess we can officially say that this is our first post for the Class of 2027!!

Thank you so much to everyone that helped this all come together. If you read the blog, you’ll find out why I may have been slightly panicked before the start of this shoot.
Thank you to all of the guys for going along with my idea and all of the parents that I know actually convinced them to go along with my ideas (my own son is one of the guys in these photos so I KNOW it was the parents doing the convincing.) 😂😂
And big, huge massive thank you to Jim for letting us use his space and helicopter and the Bell family for the truck. It was the perfect addition! Now I’m off to start planning our next styled shoot!

Someone mentioned this photo today so I had to go back and look at it again. Yep, all these years later and I am still obsessed with Katy's entire session. Funny how she is now a college grad- we may need to recreate this sometime Katy!
Since tomorrow is the last day of school for a lot of kids, I have to ask the juniors- has it sunk in yet that you are basically seniors now?!
Our summer schedule is almost full. We have 2 dates in June and 2 in July. Ella may go down in the books as my most go-with-the-flow senior. When it was the day of her session, we were both headed to Brown County for her shoot. Suddenly traffic came to a halt and when I looked at the traffic it said the road ahead was completely closed due to an accident. We were already tight on sunlight as some heavy clouds had rolled in that weren't expected and I may have panicked a bit. Thankfully we were able to throw together the fastest Plan B session ever and I kinda love the final result even more than the original plan. Funny how that happens sometimes, right?

I'm playing catch up on editing all of the cap & gown minis I have photographed over the last few weeks and finally feel like I may actually be catching up. Did I just jinx myself by saying that? Perhaps but oh well!
Also, maybe asking a baseball player and a softball player to throw their caps at me wasn't my smartest idea- thank goodness for long lenses! Haha!

As of right now, every single session is edited and should be in your inbox. If you have had a session with me and do not see it, please message me.
Also, I will officially be off the clock for the entire weekend to celebrate Mother's Day so if you message me after Friday afternoon you will not hear back until Monday.
Thank you so much to the dozens of seniors who booked cap & gown minis this Spring with us. All of the prom sessions, the styled shoots with my rep teams and the many, many other sessions, thank you.
