Earlier this year, our house fire destroyed a lot of things. One of those things was my Free Spirit Recreation Odyssey rooftop tent. To most people it was just camping gear.

To me, it represented adventure, photography trips, quiet mornings, and some of the best memories I've made over the past few years.

After talking with the team at Free Spirit Recreation, I've decided that the Evolution will be the next tent going on the Bronco as we continue rebuilding.

For fun, I asked AI to create a Hot Wheels version of my Bronco with the new setup. It was too good not to share!

Adventure.

I was never taught how to photograph. I've just always done the best that I could. I am however, a constant student and have inspirations from all over. When it comes to portraits, is like none other, in my opinion.

After reviewing his recent feature, I felt inspired! So, I talked my daughters into letting me shoot them over the weekend. The twins wanted nothing to do with it 😂.

As a Dad that just loves to create, Harv, I appreciate you making me want to be better. 🙏

So, s**t. Here we are. Here I am.

I wrote a book.

What started as a solo road trip across the country in 2022 somehow turned into the most difficult, heartbreaking, beautiful four years of my life.

Since then, I’ve lost jobs, watched my wife survive a brain hemorrhage, lost my Dad and sister three days apart, and watched our family home burn in a fire.

Somehow… through all of it… I kept writing.

The book is called “Three Little Birds.”

It’s raw. Honest. Imperfect. And probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

I shared a full update on the website for anyone who wants to follow along as this thing moves toward publication over the next few months.
