CHURRO. WAFFLES. 😍

As if breakfast on a Disney Cruise wasn’t already something to look forward to, they went ahead and combined two of my favorite things into one delicious little plate of vacation happiness. 😂

Crispy, sweet, cinnamon-sugary goodness…and YES, they are absolutely as good as they sound!

This is exactly why I love experiencing these ships myself. It’s the little things like THIS that I get to come home and tell my clients about! 🛳️❤️

So add “eat a churro waffle” to the Disney Destiny to-do list. ✔️

And remember… vacation calories happen at sea, so technically they just float away. That’s how it works. 😂🤷‍♀️

🚨 THIS is why I NEVER fly into a cruise destination the DAY OF my cruise! 🚨

Tomorrow, I board the Disney Destiny out of Fort Lauderdale! 🚢✨ But today? I’m getting a very real reminder of why I always tell my clients: FLY IN THE DAY BEFORE.

I arrived in Baltimore for my layover around 11:10 AM, and almost immediately received a text from Southwest that my connecting flight was delayed due to weather. 🌧️✈️

Since then? TWO more delays. 😳

Now I’m not scheduled to leave Baltimore until after 3:00 PM.

And all I can keep thinking is… THANK GOODNESS MY CRUISE ISN’T TODAY.

If it were, I could very easily be watching my ship sail away without me. 😬🚢👋🏼

Weather happens. Mechanical issues happen. Crew delays happen. Flights get canceled. Connections get missed. And unfortunately, your cruise ship isn't going to wait because your flight was delayed.

That’s exactly why I advise my clients to arrive at least one day before their cruise whenever possible. That extra hotel night isn’t just part of the vacation—it’s a buffer that could potentially save your entire vacation.
