It was so much fun capturing this beauty in my lens! She shares a name with my Elliana, which was so special to me - it's even spelled the same way! My Ellie and I were so tickled by that.

I was so grateful for an open night on my schedule and the perfect weather to wrap up Ellie's senior year before she headed off to college. We had such a fun evening - I so loved her laid back, down to earth, joyful presence. And what an amazing, bright future lays before her as a gymnast and a pre med student!! You are GOING PLACES, girl. Enjoy college and make sure you text your mom asap. She is not okay. :) :)

KEIRA - 2027 Senior!! It was such a joy to photograph this beautiful soul - gorgeous inside and out. She's been a friend to my Audrey for many years - it was always amazing to watch them battle through soccer games together! Warriors in their own right! (They were the Wildcats, but I digress...)

Keira asked if we could do the first part of her session at her favorite bookstore - um absolutely YES! I LOVE making senior sessions as personalized as they want to make them.

If I could go back and do my own senior photos, I would have died to shoot in a bookstore. It was so much fun including her favorite book into her photos! (I got to add it to my reading list too!)

Keira, you are amazing, and you have the brightest future ahead! Enjoy your senior year, girl!

Hello friends! If you're new here, WELCOME!

I'm Christy, a family and senior photographer based in Westerville, Ohio and shooting in the greater Columbus Metro area. I'm wife to the BEST guy, stay at home mom to two sweet and sassy girls (they come by it honestly) and full time photographer since 2012.

I'm a little crunchy, a little outdoorsy, and an extroverted introvert (it's a thing. I'm a people person and also love my quiet time to recharge!). I love Jesus, coffee, my yellow Labradors, and deep diving into finding more natural, healthy ways of living. I'm a creative who is fascinated by and a little obsessed with what makes each of us unique. What brings out the joy in you and your people? When you love something as much as Ryan loves swimming, you can't help but stop and take it all in, fully appreciating the passion. The second he jumped in, I could just feel it, the joy of being exactly in his element, and all was right with the world. It was electric, and I was so glad to be there to capture a glimpse into his world!
