There’s something so special about photographing a family in the place where their real life actually happens — where the dog runs the backyard, the ducks have their own little routine, and a one-year-old is perfectly content just snuggling her parents and watching it all unfold.

Alyshia and Jayce opened their home and let me just be there with them, and I fell in love with every single moment. I was there when Winnie was still a bump. Getting to come back and watch her turn one, thriving and glowing and so deeply loved? My whole heart. 🤍
