A SMALL BUT IMPORTANT PRIVACY UPDATE 🤍
While Captured by Gracie Photography does not primarily photograph children or families, there are occasionally little ones who are part of the stories I have the privilege of capturing.
Moving forward, Captured by Gracie Photography will no longer publicly share photographs that clearly show children’s faces.
In light of the recent court ruling and continued concerns surrounding children’s privacy online, I’ve decided to make this a standard practice within my business. While I already very rarely share images of children, I feel this is an important boundary to have in place.
Additionally, any gallery involving children will be password protected, with the password provided only to the family receiving the gallery.
This will not change what families receive. Children can still be photographed as part of sessions, weddings, elopements, or other special moments, and those images will still be included in the final gallery.
If I choose to share an image publicly, the child’s face will be turned away, hidden, cropped, covered with a 🤍 or otherwise unidentifiable.
I may not be a mom yet, but I am a nurse—and caring for and protecting others is something I carry with me far beyond the walls of the hospital. When your children are in front of my camera, I will do everything in my power to protect them and their privacy. I may not have little ones of my own yet, but I promise to care for yours and love them as if they were my own. 🤍
At the end of the day, no photograph I could post is more important than protecting a child’s privacy. 🤍
Thank you Jesus for all of the beautiful children I have the honor of photographing. I pray for your guidance, wisdom, and most of all your hand of protection over these children.
