šŸŒ™ Have a Beautiful Wednesday Evening Friends!

Thought for tonight: Where Did You Stretch Yourself Today?

As the day winds down, think about this: Did you do anything today that stretched you outside your comfort zone?

A couple years ago, I did a 90-day challenge with people from all over the world in my online business. One challenge was to stand somewhere public and record ourselves talking on video.

So, there I was.... outside Walmart and later standing in the produce aisle talking to my phone while strangers stared at me. šŸ˜‚ Yes, it was uncomfortable!

I didn’t win the competition, but you know what I DID win?

Confidence.

For 90 days, I kept doing things that stretched me. Some I absolutely did NOT want to do. šŸ˜‚ But every time I pushed myself a little further, I became stronger.

So tonight, remember sometimes the biggest prize isn’t what you win, it’s who you discover you’re capable of being. 🫶

Thought for today: Comfort Can Keep You Stuck

Here’s something to think about: you can actually become comfortable in your own misery.

I’ve seen it happen. People stay in situations they’re unhappy with because, even though they’re miserable, it’s familiar. Stepping outside of that comfort zone means uncertainty, and uncertainty can be scary as heck. šŸ˜‚

But something I’ve learned over the last couple of years is that living outside your comfort zone can also make you feel incredibly alive.

You can be thankful for what you have AND still want more for your life. Those two things can exist together.

And yes, life is expensive. Things are uncertain. Everyone has struggles, no matter where they live. Sometimes doing something different requires more work, more creativity, and a whole lot more courage.

But staying exactly where you’ve always been will usually give you exactly what you’ve always had.

Take the class. Read the book. Start the project. Look for another income stream. Apply for the opportunity. Ask the question. Take the scary step.

You might fail. You might have to adjust. You might discover it wasn’t right for you.

But you might also discover a life you never would have found by staying comfortable.

Comfort feels safe. Growth makes you feel alive. 🫶

One thing I get asked a lot because my life isn’t traditional is, ā€œWhat do you do all day?ā€

And sometimes I just want to laugh and say, ā€œDo you want the list?ā€ šŸ˜‚

We’re so used to thinking life is supposed to look a certain way. But the world is changing. People are building businesses from home, creating, learning, writing, raising families, working different schedules, and finding paths that actually fit their lives.

Just because someone’s path doesn’t look like yours doesn’t make it less valuable.

You don’t see every hour they put in, and they don’t owe anyone a play-by-play.

So support people who are working toward something better, even when you don’t completely understand it.

As my husband likes to say, ā€œIf you don’t pay the bills, you don’t get a say in how we live our life.ā€ šŸ˜‚ And he’s got a point.

Build what fits you. Work hard. Stay disciplined. And let others do the same. šŸ’™

Happy Tuesday Morning!

Thought for the day: Discipline Will Take You Where Motivation Can’t

What does discipline actually look like?

When you work a traditional 9–5, there’s usually a built-in routine. You get up, get ready, go to work, come home, and somehow fit everything else around it.

But when you work from home, run an online business, write, or have projects you’re building from home, you have to create that structure for yourself.

And trust me, the distractions are REAL. šŸ˜‚

There’s laundry. Dishes. Food to make. Household stuff. And in my house, two dogs who are completely convinced they are the center of the universe. 🐾🤣

I’ve had to learn to create daily routines and methods that keep the ball rolling even on the days when I’m not feeling particularly motivated.

Because motivation comes and goes.

Discipline is doing the things that move you forward even when you don’t feel like doing them.

But discipline also doesn’t mean working every second of the day. Have some fun. Take the walk. Play with the dogs. Enjoy your coffee. Live your life.

The goal isn’t to become a machine. It’s to create enough structure that the things you say matter actually get done.

What does YOUR daily routine look like? ā˜•ļø

Have a restful Monday Evening Friends

This morning we talked about outgrowing old environments and patterns. Something else I’ve learned is that what we put into our minds matters just as much as what we walk away from.

The conversations we listen to. The books we read. The things we watch. The thoughts we keep repeating.

Tonight, ask yourself: Did what I put into my mind today help me grow, or pull me backward?

Choose carefully. You’re building tomorrow’s version of you. 🫶

Happy Monday 😊 a little late start lol

Thought for today: Stop Settling for What You’ve Outgrown..

Want to know one of the clearest signs you’ve grown? You can go back into an old environment and realize you don’t belong in the old patterns anymore.

Things that once pulled you in just don’t. Conversations hit differently. Behaviors you once tolerated become impossible to ignore.
That’s not you being difficult. That’s growth.

You don’t have to shrink yourself to fit somewhere you’ve already outgrown. Keep moving forward.

Meanwhile, I’m sitting outside watching Roxy obsess over her ball, something she will apparently NEVER outgrow, šŸ˜‚while Duke is on Paw Patrol, keeping a very serious eye on the golfers behind our place. 🤣🐾

Apparently some things are meant to be outgrown…and some things are forever. šŸ˜‚

Have a restful evening my friends!

A New Week Ahead

I used to dread Mondays. Now, I actually get excited about them.

My life looks very different these days. I no longer work the traditional 9–5, but that definitely doesn’t mean I don’t work hard. šŸ˜‚ Some days I swear there still aren’t enough hours!

I remember the years of working, raising kids, taking care of a home, farm animals, meals, laundry and everything else, and somehow getting it done. So, I have a tremendous amount of respect for everyone doing that right now.

These days, my husband and I have so many things we’re quietly working toward, and I’m genuinely excited about where life is going.

So tonight, don’t be hard on yourself for what you didn’t finish this week.

Tomorrow is Monday. A fresh week. A new beginning.

You don’t have to dread what’s ahead. You get another chance to make it beautiful. šŸ’™

Rest well, my friends. Tomorrow we begin again.

Have a beautiful Sunday Morning ā˜•

Thought for today: Build a Life You Don’t Need to Escape From

I think a lot of people dream about building a different life, but sometimes we get so overwhelmed by everybody telling us what we should be doing that we never actually start.

There are hundreds of opportunities out there. Products, businesses, health, fitness, travel, writing, the list goes on. But not everything is meant for everybody, and that’s okay.

I came across what I’m doing now about two years ago, and what a journey it has been. šŸ˜‚ I actually do a couple different things, mostly centered around health, because that genuinely matters to me.

But one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned?

You don’t have to chase people.

Share what you love. Show what you’re building. Answer questions when people are curious. And let people decide for themselves whether it fits their life.

Because desperation and pressure rarely build something sustainable.

The same goes for your life. You don’t have to follow somebody else’s path just because it worked for them.

Find what fits YOU. Take the opportunities that feel right. Build something, you actually enjoy waking up to, and let it grow naturally.

You weren't meant to spend your whole life waiting for the weekend just so you can escape it. 🫶

šŸŒ™ Happy Saturday Evening

Thought for tonight: What Did You Make Time For?

Today my husband and I took a quick day trip to see some of my family I haven’t seen in quite a while.

It reminded me of something simple: life is fleeting, and people don’t stay the same age forever.

Life is busy. Travel costs more. Fuel costs more. Sometimes getting everyone together just isn’t easy. But when you can, make the effort.

Call them. Visit them. Sit around the table. Laugh about old memories and make a few new ones.

Because someday, the time you made for the people you love may matter far more than everything else you were busy doing. šŸ’™

Rest well tonight, my friends.

Have a beautiful Saturday Morning ā˜•

Thought for today: Your Priorities Reveal Your Direction

Something I’ve been thinking about lately is how much our priorities reveal where our life is headed.

I’ve been reading books from people who are incredibly goal-oriented, and one thing keeps standing out: they never stop learning. Books, podcasts, mentors, new ideas, they intentionally put things into their minds that help them grow.

And here’s the beautiful part: learning doesn’t only happen in a classroom.

You don’t necessarily need another degree or certificate to grow into a stronger, wiser, more capable person. Education is incredibly valuable, especially when your goals require it, but learning is available to all of us.

Read the book. Listen to the podcast. Learn from someone who has already accomplished what you’re working toward. Ask better questions. Challenge yourself.

Because eventually, what you consistently focus on begins shaping the way you think, the choices you make, and the direction your life takes.

So, ask yourself this morning:

Do your priorities match the life you say you want? 🫶
