From there, you can choose one group and break it down a little more if it helps.

A broad “birthday” pile might become birthdays by child, by year, or by photos that still need names or dates.

Simple note cards are enough to begin.

Because when you go looking for a photo, you’re not thinking:

“What year was that?”

You’re thinking:

“That was Christmas”

“That was our vacation”

“That was just a regular day at home”

Your system should match how your brain works.

Not the other way around.
