This wedding felt like the universe had been quietly writing the story long before Tara & James even knew it. ✨

From how they first came together to the absolutely wild story of Tara finding something James had lost in an entirely different state — and then realizing it belonged to him while they were dating — there are just too many “what are the chances?!” moments in their story to call it coincidence. Sometimes the stars really do align. ❤️

Honored to have photographed the entire Masters of Taste feature for the July/ August issue of Modern Luxury San Diego. 🍽️📸

Getting to tell the stories behind some of San Diego’s most talented chefs, restaurants, and culinary leaders was an incredible experience. From capturing beautiful dishes to creating portraits of the people behind them, this project was a reminder of how much passion, creativity, and hard work goes into our local dining scene.

A huge thank you to the team at Modern Luxury San Diego for the opportunity and to all of the chefs and restaurants who welcomed me into their spaces. It was a privilege to help showcase the talent that makes San Diego such an amazing culinary destination.

What’s better than a pool party, pizza, Hawaiian shaved ice, and a backyard full of laughing kids? Not much! 🍕🌊🍧

I can’t believe Meyer is turning 9. This year he was voted “Most Likely to Be a Scientist,” which couldn’t be more fitting. He’s curious, creative, always building something, and has been lucky to be surrounded by some truly awesome friends this year.

Easter weekend at our new house 🤍
Hosting everyone for the first time, filling the house with laughter, good food, and so many memories—kids swimming all day, cousins being wild, celebrating Rilan’s 17th birthday and the golden egg at the bottom of the pool!

Taking a moment to soak in what Easter is really about—gratitude, love, and being surrounded by family.

We missed our big kids this year! As they grow and have lives of their own, they can’t always make every holiday, but we’re already looking forward to the next time we’re all together 💛
