First time shooting at Philbrook Museum was a success š¤āØ
I got asked to photograph a surprise proposal/sessionā¦ and somehow managed to pull it off š
Hereās how it went:
I arrived and spotted the couple in the gardens. I introduced myself and asked if theyād be willing to help support my photography business by participating in a few complimentary photos I could use for advertising. They said yes!
We started with family photos, then moved into individual portraits of mom + baby and dad + baby. Once everyone was comfortable, it was time for the actual proposal setup.
My prompt was simple: mom would face me while dad ran up behind her, gave her a big bear hug, and spun her around. Then I told them we had to do it one more time because I had āmessed upā the shotā¦
Except thatās when the magic happened.
He dropped down and proposed šāØ
She had absolutely no idea it was coming.
Needless to say, I was SO nervous trying to make sure everything went smoothly, but Iām incredibly proud that I pulled it off and got to be part of such a special moment š„¹
