Benjamin and Ella met at a rodeo while they were both stationed at a naval base in Georgia as Navy submarines.

With Ella originally from Alaska and Benjamin from New Mexico, they envisioned a wedding location that felt like a meeting place between their two homes. Drawn to the sweeping mountain views, wildflowers and the quiet magic of the Colorado high country, they fell in love with Crested Butte.

They gathered only their 10 closest family and friends for an intimate mountain celebration.

Such an honor to capture their magical sunrise micro wedding in Crested Butte, Colorado.

Ella is featuring her mom’s necklace, rings from Frank Darling, boots and dress from David’s Bridal, florals from Misty Mountain Too and hair and makeup from K Young Day Maker (Kaitlyn Young).
