🌅 Oft doth the daily passage yield a sky so fair that one must needs capture it through the very glass of the carriage.
Whilst journeying upon the highways of Puerto Rico at the setting of the sun, I was granted a most excellent raw image upon which to work. Behold how the art of colouring doth wholly alter the spirit of the scene.
In the first rendering, the cooling of the shadows bestoweth a moody and cinematic cast of teal and orange upon the heavens.
In the second, the warming of the tones awakeneth a gritty golden nostalgia, causing the horizon to glow behind the billboards.
And in the third, the heightening of vibrance createth a bold and saturated contrast betwixt the deep blue clouds and the bright yellow of the dying sun, making the passing vehicle stand forth most vividly against the road.
’Tis the selfsame stretch of highway, yet three wholly different manners of remembering the journey.
Which manner of colouring doth please thee most for a sunset drive?
1️⃣ The cinematic teal
2️⃣ The warm and golden
3️⃣ The bold and vibrant punch
