No, but really. The intimate moments. The anticipation. The simple but powerful. To just be let into someone else's world that is so beautiful, swells my heart (and eyes) every time. When Tyler turned around to see Jayla for the first time 😭

And just like that, this girl is graduated and moving thousands of miles away from her family to spread her wings 🥲 you are made for such great things, miss!

No, she's not mine.
Was this the first time I had the privilege of meeting her? Yes.
Did I get teary eyed? Also yes. 😬
Will I be praying for her on her journey and also for her parents who are in direct impact of their first born growing up? Absolutely 😭

I was so thankful when these two, soon to be three 🥰, were flexible with the crazy weather we had faced within 24 hours. We went from having a 6PM session to one at like.. 10AM in a totally different location.

But it all fell into place. We were able to squeeze a maternity session into their baby moon, and it couldn't have been sweeter 🥺

Congrats, congrats, congrats. And soak in all the baby snuggles ❤️

This one got me in my feels.. 🥺

The apparent amount of respect, support, and love for these two and between these two could make anyone's heart soften and warm.

Throughout the evening we were able to honor the ones they love + miss + will continue to miss. The ones that they will carry deep in their soul for the rest of the days earthside. Willingly and proudly.

It's never just a ceremony. It's never just a wedding. It is a new start with some bittersweet endings. It is creation and evolution. There's a grief that settles, but a thankfulness that dances.

And when I get to see into the little parts of that, that is something I will never take for granted.

This session we saw a mama with her sweet little ducklings, and I think it was the perfect visual. She swam straight up to us while we were at the edge of the water, with all her babies- like she was showing them off.

And there is no doubt that this family radiates love and respect, a pride in what is being built.❤️

We have been having some cloudy + rainy days here lately. Most sessions we are trying to find that one hour slot with semi-clear skies and minimal downpour 😅 But it makes me that much more thankful for my amazing families. They are willing to make it work, willing to be flexible, willing to embrace the moments for what it is. And we just go on the ride together.

This wonderful elopement entailed some fun BTS moments. Including making a toddler happy with my car keys and dad's wallet. You can best believe there was singing and silly voices. It was windy. It was free-flowing. The clouds were moving, the light was changing. And we just went with it. And it was beautiful.

What a beautiful example of what life can be. These two were sharing moments from their 20 years together. The seasons they've walked. The lessons they've learned. And the mountains they've conquered. And somehow after all of that, we can find ourselves in these types of moments. Dancing along the shores of beautiful white sandy beaches and laughing with the ones we love. Soaking in the sun and all the blessings. I don't think you could ever get tired of it and I don't think we could ever embrace it enough.
