I blinked and summer came and went☀️ It was full of blow up pools and popsicles in the backyard, playing pretend princesses each morning and spending all of our time together. We went through all of our art supplies, destroyed the house by 8am each day, visited every indoor play place that Houston has to offer, and also experienced our fair share of boredom over the past 3 months. I’ve tried my best to protect and savor the slowness, and the days have been equal parts ordinary and magical. My oldest starts Kinder later this week and my youngest will go to school a few days a week for the first time, and I’m feeling all of the feels as we enter into this new stage as a family! Change is inevitable and also exciting, but I’m holding on tight to these little people years that seem to keep flying by faster and faster. So long sweet summer, you were so good to us ☀️
