I’m Laura Parent, a Texas fine artist who runs Healing Together – organic art therapy sessions that pair your rescue dogs/cats with people healing from trauma or anxiety.
We sit quietly together and draw the animal while they relax beside (or on!) the person. The result is huge emotional release for the human AND calmer, more adoptable behavior for the animal.

• Private Session (1 human + 1 animal): 2½ hours guided drawing + portrait. Cathartic bond-building. $995 intro.
• Small Group (3–6 pairs): 2 hours collaborative art. Fun sharing, cathartic release. $450/person.
• Kids Paw Pals (5–12): 60 min playful prompts. Super fun animal games + drawing. $250/child (sponsored often free).
• Teens Soul Sketch (13–17): 90 min expressive sessions. Cathartic depth, fun themes. $350/teen.
• Community Workshops: 90 min at abuse centers/shelters. Free to participants; cathartic group healing. Sponsored $950–$1,500.
• 6-Week Series: Weekly build-up. Cathartic growth, fun rewards. $9,000–$12,000 sponsored (groups).
