Wow, has this Spring been just incredibly busy for anybody else? I am blown away that it's almost MAY! I'm still photographing my sweet maternity and newborn clients, but I've added in preschools and private schools as well and am loving it! In the Spring I offered these awesome personality portraits. My goal with each kiddo was to make our brief time together (really, like 60 seconds each!) fun and be able to provide their parents with some beautiful images at a reasonable price.

Did you know that before I became a photographer, I was a teacher? I taught 5th grade for 9 years and loved working with those kids. I've even gotten to photograph some as they got older, either as high school seniors, or as they started their own family!

I wanted to take a moment before the year officially rolls over to stop and say THANK YOU. To my clients, to my friends who refer others, and to those who are just starting to work with me. It means the world to me to get to meet your precious babies, and take part in your celebrations, and capture a small bit of your journey in this world. I am looking forward to a lot more in the coming year!

This year I continued photographing maternity, newborns, and high school seniors. In the Fall I got to photograph repeating clients, and some new families. I also ventured into preschool portraits and LOVED those little kids, so working towards more of those in the future is my goal!

Happy New Year, may you all have a wonderful celebration and a calm day tomorrow!
