I still can’t even begin to comprehend how many stars there are in the sky. The number of stars visible just in this photo is astounding.

Here in Dallas we were blessed with just enough clear skies that we could see most of totality.

I don’t know about you, but I almost prefer the look of the eclipse behind the clouds!

A sunset in Yellowstone, quickly taken out of the back window of a truck. I was half expecting these to be unusable due to noise or blurriness from the movement of the truck.

Often the best views are at unexpected times. This was taken in New Mexico on the drive between Utah and Texas.

Just happened to stop by Mesa Verde National Park on the way home to Texas! I wasn’t sure what to expect for sunrise here but I did not disappoint!

Not bad for being 1.5 hours out of Dallas! I need to find a good location here that’s a true dark zone to really enjoy the night sky.
