Turns out “least interesting thing about me” was setting a low bar.

✨ Shooting full-time now

✨ Dancing badly but enthusiastically

✨ Drinks with people I love

✨ Building the life I actually wanted 🖤

Katie and Drew, somewhere in the woods outside Houston, refusing to let a gray sky ruin the mood.

No sun. No filter. Just a forehead kiss, a silly dance move, and a hand on a jaw like they’ve got nowhere else to be. They stood at the edge of a lake and didn’t say much — didn’t need to. Some things just read louder in black and white.

You don’t need golden hour when you’ve already got the good part figured out. ✨

keep me in your thoughts. ✨

specifically the one where you’re getting married, eloping, or standing in front of a courthouse in your best black outfit and remember I exist. not the thought where you’re worried about me — I’m fine, I just think about your wedding day the way normal people think about true crime podcasts.

no candles, no vision board, no crying to the universe. 🔮 just a photographer who’s very normal about this and would like to document the whole thing, thanks. no journaling either… just vibes and a booking link.

15 years. 1 job now. 🖤

Erin Frances Photography just became the only thing on my calendar. Weddings, elopements, portraits — whatever you’re building, I’m all in on shooting it.

Calendar’s open. Let’s make something good. ✨

Nobody tells you the officiant briefing is half the job. You can have the perfect dress, the perfect light, the perfect playlist — and still end up with a ceremony that feels chaotic because nobody told your officiant what to say. Five things to hand yours beforehand so it actually runs like you pictured it, not like everyone’s guessing what happens next.

They wore velvet into the woods and I have never been more into a session.

No forced smiles, no “okay now walk toward me” energy. Just two people being normal weird in a field that looks like it’s hiding something. This is the whole point for me — real, a little strange, zero pageantry.

If you want photos that don’t look like everyone else’s, I’m here. ✨

🌈 Pride Month may be over on the calendar, but this doesn’t stop being love just because June did.

Last fall, these two stood in a field the color of late autumn and got married — while their dog treated the whole thing like his personal red carpet, weaving through every shot like he had somewhere better to be. No performance, no audience to prove anything to. Just two people forehead to forehead, laughing between kisses, holding onto each other’s dresses like they’d been doing it for years.

Here’s the part that gets lost when the rainbow branding disappears from every storefront on July 1st: the love doesn’t clock out, and neither does the good lighting. These two don’t stop being who they are just because the month changed. The quiet Tuesday-in-October weddings keep happening whether or not they’re trending — and that’s kind of the whole point!

So this one’s for them. For the tangled veils, the tattoos peeking out from satin, and the world’s least cooperative four-legged wedding coordinator. For every couple who deserves a photographer who shows up just as hard in November as they do in June.

If you’re planning a wedding, elopement, or courthouse “I do” and want someone who’ll actually tell your story — my inbox is open! 📥 ✨🫶🏻
