😡 Must Read 😡
Today, our beautiful quince had her photo session at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden . She entered the arboretum with her instrument which was safely stored inside its carrying case and was an important part of her story, as she is a talented musician.
Upon entering, we were informed that the saxophone was not allowed inside the gardens. As a result, she had to walk all the way back to the parking lot and leave her instrument in the vehicle before being permitted to enter.
I’m genuinely trying to understand the reasoning behind this policy. It wasn’t being played, wasn’t causing a disturbance, and remained inside its protective case. It was simply a personal item that represented a significant part of who she is.
As photographers, we love incorporating meaningful elements into our sessions to tell our clients’ stories. Unfortunately, this young lady was unable to include something that means so much to her.
Can someone explain why a saxophone in a carrying case would not be permitted inside the Dallas Arboretum?
Just trying to make sense of it.
BUT We were able to shot the session outside 🎉🎉🎉
