✨✨Class of 2025✨✨
Long sappy post warning... buckle up for this one. Things have been pretty quiet around here and I feel like it is time to update you all about the direction of my photography business ❤
I remember when this sweet girl was 3 and I was enrolling her for Pre-K at Olympia North. As I entered her information into the system, one of the pages denoted that she was a member of the Class of 2025. Seeing those words then, I remember being taken back and thinking to myself... wow- that is a long time from now! My precious baby will have so much to accomplish between now and high school graduation. Over these past 14 years, I have had the pleasure to watch her learn how to read, write, and problem solve, make friends with some amazing people, work hard to play sports that she loves (and some that she has learned that she doesn't) and even had the great honor to be her 5th-grade teacher. I have watched her excel in and out of the classroom as a leader, grow into a compassionate young lady, a follower of Christ, and be an amazing example to her younger siblings. I dream of the things she will do with her life, as she prepares to spread her wings and fly and I couldn't be more proud.
It is so fitting that the first senior of the class of 2025 that I have the privilege to take photos of is none other than my very own. I have watched many mommas stand in awe during their child's senior session, grasping for something to hold on to-- more time, childhood memories, whatever it might be... and now I am feeling what they must have been feeling all along. Seeing an amazing young adult standing where my baby once stood- full of life, potential, and promise. And I just want to soak it all in. Three kids in high school and one in middle school for me this year. I have had years where I have been so blessed with business that I have had to miss out on too much with my own family. It is such a hard balance to find and I need to be very intentional with my time during this season of my life. I am so grateful for all of my clients and I have so many who have already reached out to me about doing photos this upcoming season. I am going to do my best to work with everyone I can, but I am putting a priority on Senior Photos, as this is where my passion and heart are right now.
Thank you to everyone for sticking with me this far. Please stay tuned for some information about some upcoming Class of 2025 Senior Sunset Mini Sessions that I am really excited about. This will be an opportunity for your senior to get some photos before the craziness of the school year starts. I will also be updating my availability and posting a link to my calendar soon. Once my dates are booked, I will not be opening up any more spots. Thank you for understanding and for your support! I love you all!!
