To the women who raise us, guide us, and love us unconditionally. Happy Mother’s Day. 🤍🕊️

Whether it’s a mom, a grandma, or a mentor, today is about celebrating the beautiful hearts that help us grow. I’m extra grateful for the grace and strength of the woman who shaped me into who I am today.

Leading up to Mother’s Day, I wanted to share a special session I did recently with my grandmother, who is 85.

Growing up, I remember going through dozens of totes she kept, each one filled with years of photographs and memories. She held onto every moment so carefully, and looking back now, I realize that’s where my love for photography truly began, seeing just how much a single image could mean over time.

This session felt especially meaningful because it reflects the kind of life I was raised around, the importance of remembering, preserving, and holding onto the people and moments that shape us.

I’ve learned that we don’t just take photos for today, we take them so the people who love us later can look back and feel exactly what we felt in those moments.

I hope whoever is reading this is reminded how important it is to document your own story.
