C̲a̲l̲l̲i̲n̲g̲ ̲a̲l̲l̲ ̲F̲A̲I̲R̲Y̲ ̲G̲A̲R̲D̲E̲N̲ ̲l̲o̲v̲e̲r̲s̲!̲🍄✨

One afternoon, Addi 👧 and I turned an old bucket into a whole little world. 🪣🌿 We started from scratch — collected pinecones outside 🌲 and painted them green 🎨, found a little house at Michaels 🏠 and painted it red, then added sweet finishing touches from Gardner Village to bring it all to life. ✨

🪴 Grab any container — an old pot, planter, even a flower bed works

🏡 Raid your own house first for things you can repurpose

🌲 Pinecones from the yard, painted, make perfect little "bushes"

🛍️ Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Gardner Village all have great fairy garden pieces

🎨 Pick a theme so it feels pulled together, not random

💸 It doesn't need to be expensive, and it's never really "finished" — we're already planning what to add next!

The best part wasn't the garden itself — it was watching her get lost in the tiny details. 💕 She's so proud of it — every time she comes to visit 👋, she checks to make sure it's okay, and she wants everyone to see it. 🥰 I love making memories with this sweet little girl! Being a grandma is the best! 👵💖

Red Butte Gardens + a stunning sunset = the perfect evening. 🌿🌅

Sunsets are my love language — always have been. There's something about the way God lights up the sky at the end of the day that just fills my soul. He paints the most breathtaking canvas every single evening and I never want to stop noticing. 🎨✨

My greatest hope is that one day my children and grandchildren will catch a sky like this, smile, and think "Mom and Grandma would have loved to see this" — and 📸 snap a picture and send it to me. 😄

Do yourself a favor — grab someone you love and get to Red Butte Gardens before this summer slips away. Let God's canvas take your breath away together, because some things in this life are just sweeter when shared. 💛 So grateful for this beautiful earth and for the precious people in my life who make it even more so. 🙏🏼

It's Father's Day, and my heart is full thinking about mine. 💛

These are just a few things I love and remember about my dad. 🙏
He was the kind of man who sat us down every single year to set goals 🎯 — then actually helped us keep them and checked in at year's end to see how we did. That's the kind of intentional dad he was.

He knew that how he loved our mother really mattered for our future lives. 💑 He loved her unconditionally, to the very end. We didn't just hear it — we watched it. He showed us what a marriage could look like, and because of that, we grew up knowing exactly what to hope for.

After long Stake Presidency meetings, he'd go to his office at McDougal Realtors and sleep on the floor for a couple hours 😴, then get up and start it all over again. That was just who he was. 💪

He had polio as a child, and it never once stopped him from doing what everyone else was doing. 🦵✨

On road trips 🚗, he'd skip the map, stick his head out the window 👃💨, and just go whichever way smelled right. He always swore he could smell us. 😂

And every summer ☀️, you'd find us as the last ones on the white roller coaster 🎢 at Lagoon, riding until midnight 🌙 when they shut it down.

My dad loved life. ❤️ He loved fiercely, and he loved well.

I love you, Dad. I miss YOU. 🤍

Enjoyed the most delicious morning at in Draper, Utah with my sweet daughter-in-law .beauty.llc 🥞 I love spending time with this girl, and HASH KITCHEN never disappoints. Hearty skillet hashes, fluffy pancakes, build your own donut bar, power bowls, salads, grilled cheese sandwiches, breakfast burritos, Maso's Breakfast potato tacos and that warm, lively brunch energy made for the perfect catch-up — truly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Under a canopy of stars ✨, nestled in red rocks 🪨, sits the Tuacahn Center for the Arts — a place that feels like heaven gave us a stage. We watched Les Misérables 🎭 and it took my breath away. The music 🎶, the rocks, the stars overhead... it felt like God was right there with us, enjoying the show too. 🙏

Sharing it with my "Girls of '84"! 👯‍♀️ That made it sacred. 🤍

Take the trip. ✈️ Buy the ticket. 🎟️ Show up for the friends who keep choosing you, year after year, decade after decade. 💕 We don't get forever — we get now!⏳

Some weekends just stay with you. ✨

June 5th and 6th, I had the privilege of sitting in that audience twice — and both times, I left with a full heart and tears I wasn't even embarrassed about. 🥹

BEHOLD THE GLORY was nothing short of breathtaking. The orchestra, the choir, the soloists — all of it woven together into something that felt less like a concert and more like a worship experience.
But I'll be honest — I was there for one moment in particular.

My daughter Jenna Barrus stepped to that microphone and sang HOLY FOREVER as a soloist. And friends… she was magnificent. I watched her pour every bit of her heart onto that stage and I thought — this is what it looks like when someone walks in their gifts.

I'm so proud I could burst. 💚

Both nights I was surrounded by the best kind of friends — Karalee, Heather, and Janet — the kind who cry with you and cheer with you and make every beautiful moment even sweeter.

What a weekend. What a gift. 🙏

And if this weekend moved me the way it did — just wait until fall. 🎭🎬

Hi Friends! ☀️ I just got back from the most soul-filling girls' trip — a few days of unplugging, reconnecting, and doing life together with some of my favorite people, the Girls of '84. 🥰

We are all in different seasons of life. We've each walked through hard things. But what struck me most is how God has been in the details — weaving us back together at just the right time to strengthen, encourage, challenge, cry with, and cheer each other on. 💛

Relief Society General President Camille Johnson said it so beautifully:

What a night! 🍲✨🙌 Our Relief Society sisters gathered for a Crockpot & Instant Pot Recipe Night, and the food, the fun, and the sisters delivered in the best way! 💕

The table was lined with pots bubbling away 🫕🫕🫕 and the company was even better! I brought my family-favorite Chicken Tortilla Soup 🍵🌮 — creamy, flavorful, and so easy to throw together. We sampled Butter Chicken 🍗, fluffy rice 🍚, hard-boiled eggs 🥚, Coconut Sweet Potato Lentil Soup 🥥🍠, Mississippi Pot Roast 🥩, and even homemade yogurt 🥛😍. Every bite was a little taste of someone's kitchen and story. 🫶

This is exactly the kind of evening that reminds me why I love these women gatherings so much 💗 — good food, new recipes, and real connection. ✨

If you're looking for a fun idea for your Relief Society or neighborhood group, I highly recommend a night like this! 🌟 Gather your crockpots and Instant Pots, share your favorites, and let dinner do the talking. 🍽️💕

Three years ago today, I said goodbye to my angel mother. 👼🏻 I miss her more than words can express — and yet, I find peace knowing she and Dad are together again. 🕊️💜

Yesterday would have been their 63rd wedding anniversary. 💍 Sixty-three years of love, kindness, and the kind of companionship that most people only dream of. They didn't just love each other — they showed us what love is supposed to look like. A true example of what marriage can and should be. 💑✨

I know I'll see them both again. 🙏🏻 Until then, I hold onto the memories and the legacy they left us.

Today, hug those you love a little tighter. 🤗 Life is precious and fleeting, and we never know when we'll be called home. 🏡

I love you, Mom and Dad! I miss you both so much. 😘💕
