BE STILL, MY SOUL🎵

Some mornings, peace finds you before you even go looking for it. 💛 That's what happened this week — "Be Still, My Soul," Hymn 124, came on at the right time and the moment I needed it. God has a way of doing that when we need some help — He knows me, and He knows you. Church of Jesus Christ

Some days I feel exhausted, depleted, anxious, stretched thin by life — and this song just comforts my soul. 🙏 The Lord is on our side. Through patience, we bear our crosses, and we leave it to God to make sense of everything and provide. Through every change in our lives, He remains our best and truest friend, walking by our side through this journey of life. He guides our future because He knows us — He loves us — and He will never let us walk alone.

So when the storms of life come, TRUST HIM. Let your soul be filled with peace. ✨

𝓖𝓸 & 𝓓𝓸 𝓣𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓦𝓮𝓮𝓴𝓮𝓷𝓭✨

Drop everything and get to the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival at Thanksgiving Point ! 📖🌳 Jenna Barrus and I went last night and oh my goodness — SO good. 💛

There’s something about sitting under the trees in Ashton Gardens, phone down, no distractions, just a storyteller and a crowd leaning in together. 🌙✨ Laughing out loud one minute, wiping my eyes the next. That’s the magic. 🥹

37 years strong, and it runs through tomorrow — stories all day and into the night, plus music, magic shows, pottery, food, and tents full of tellers. 🎪 Bring the whole family or make it a date night. ❤️

💍✨ What a beautiful day celebrating the wedding of Alexis and Cole Nebeker! Cole is my cousin Stuart’s son — my aunt and uncle’s grandson — and yes, that’s a mouthful, but that’s what big, wonderful families are made of. 💛

Getting to sit with aunts, uncles and cousins, laughing and catching up… we need more days like this. 🥰

One of my very favorite details was this table. Framed photos of the loved ones who couldn’t be there in person, tucked in with baby’s breath and candlelight:

“In loving memory of those who are forever in our hearts, today + always.”

My Grandma Kofford was right there among them, and it stopped me for a minute. 🕊️ What a sweet, tender way to bring the ones who’ve gone before us into a brand new beginning. Love doesn’t end — it just keeps showing up at the table.

I love weddings. New beginnings, families joining, generations sitting side by side. 🤍

WOW! JUST WOW! What a day! 🤩

I was BLOWN AWAY by CRISP & GREEN in Sandy! 🥗✨
📍 9710 S State St, Sandy, UT 84070 CRISP & GREEN

The food was DELICIOUS — every single bite! 😋 We went with the grain bowls: I had the PESTO ITALIANO with 41 grams of protein 💪 and Julie had the GREEK OUT with 37 grams! Fresh, flavorful, and filling — the kind of meal that leaves you feeling so good afterward. I will absolutely be going again! 🙌

Then it was off to HALE CENTER THEATER for JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT! 🎭🌈

Oh my goodness — what a show! ✨ The color, the costumes, the voices, the energy! 🎶 Hale never misses, and this one had me smiling from start to finish. There is just nothing like theater in the round — not a bad seat in the house!

Great food, a great show, and a great friend. Days like this fill my heart! ❤️ I highly recommend BOTH!

🍂🫖 Fall is in the air — and you know what that means around here… herbal tea and hot chocolate season is officially OPEN! ☕️

got me hooked on this yumminess and oh my goodness, she was right! 🍋 Vonbee Honey Citron & Ginger Tea — just a spoonful stirred into hot water and it's the coziest thing. That lemony citron with a little ginger warmth… mmmm. 😍 A spoonful with all your yummies!

I found this big beautiful jar at the Costco in St. George — check your local Costco this fall, friends! 🛒 Then grab your prettiest mug (mine's a keeper 💙❤️), find a sunny window, and give thanks for the little things. 🙏🏻

🍂 The First Whisper of Fall 🍂

There's a hush that comes over the mountains this time of year. The wildflowers are still holding on, the grasses have gone golden, and if you look closely — right there on a single branch — you'll find the first leaves turning. 🧡

I keep coming back to that fallen log. Rings and rings of seasons, one right after another, every one of them written into the wood. It didn't rush a single year. And here's the life lesson I needed this week: neither do the leaves. They don't turn all at once. One branch goes first, quietly, while everything around it is still green — and nobody rushes it, and nobody shames it for being early or late. 🌿

Maybe that's permission for the rest of us, too. To change in our own timing. To let go when it's time, and trust that letting go is part of the growing.

A sweet little deer watched me from the willows. The aspens leaned over the path like they were listening. And the sky put on a show at both ends of the day, just because. ✨

I am so grateful. For mountains. For quiet trails. For a God who paints the sky twice a day and never once repeats Himself. 🙏💛

Soak it in, friends. This season is short and it is so, so good. 🍁

Wedding Rings and Rainbows 🌈💍This past weekend, Jenna Barrus and I got to celebrate something really special — a wedding for my friend Staci Braithwaite she/her youngest daughter. 💕 Almost 30 years of friendship, Christmas cards, phone calls across state lines, and here we were together again. 💛🎉

The countryside was absolutely magical that night. 🌾 Corn stalks stretching across the fields, an old barn, barbed wire fences, dirt roads that felt straight out of a John Denver song. You know that feeling? Country roads, take me home. 🛣️🌄🎶

They had planned an outdoor ceremony, but the rain came rolling in. ☔ So inside they went, and the rings were exchanged anyway. 💍

And that’s when it happened — we looked out and saw the most stunning double rainbow you’ve ever seen. 🌈🌈 Pictures don’t do it justice. It was just there, perfect timing, perfect beauty. ✨📸

I think that double rainbow was God’s blessing on their new journey as husband and wife.💙 🙏

Moments like these remind you what matters. Good friends. 👯‍♀️ Family. The simple beauty of the country. 🌻 And my Jenna girl by my side. 🥰
