If you’ve been wanting professional portraits or to capture a special story but the budget is tight, I would love to trade my services for yours.

I am currently looking for:

• Events: Kids' birthday decor & catering/food (I have events in May & June!).

• Home & Garden: Landscaping, flower planting, grass installation, or wallpapering.

• The Handyman Touch: Carpentry (help me build a playhouse or mud kitchen!) or car detailing/maintenance.

• Self-Care: Haircuts, massages/bodywork, or esthetician services.

• From the Farm: Homemade or farm-fresh goods (eggs, sourdough, honey, meat, etc.).

A New Chapter: Introducing Melanie’s Locket

For a long time, you’ve known me simply as a photographer. But as I’ve grown, my vision has shifted. I realized I’m not just interested in taking pictures—I’m interested in preserving heirlooms.
I’m so emotional and proud to finally announce that my business is rebranding to Melanie’s Locket.

The Heart Behind the Name:
Why a locket? Because a locket is where we keep what is most precious. It’s the one thing you’d reach for if everything else was lost. It’s a tether to a moment, a person, or a feeling that you never want to let go of.

That is how I view my work. I want to give you photographs that feel like a still from a classic film—raw, unscripted, and quietly magical. Whether we are on the backroads of the Colorado plains or at a destination across the globe, I am here to document the beauty of your wildest love.

I had such a fun time photographing this Colorado elopement! The weather this day was a mixture of literally everything! It was sunny, rainy, windy, and snowy all within 2 hours lol it’s definitely a day that Fatima and Noah will remember forever 🤍
