Yep it’s true! Colorado doesn’t require a witness to sign your marriage license… which means your dog can! 🐾
🥹 And honestly, it makes for the cutest photos.

A few quick tips if you’re planning to have your pup sign:
✔️ Double-check with the county clerk where you get your license- some offices don’t allow pets (Denver, Arapahoe & El Paso included). The good news: you can get your license from any county, as long as you marry in Colorado.
✔️ Grab an inkless paw print pad (Amazon has them!) so it’s safe for your dog and mess-free.
✔️ Do a little practice run before the real thing.

C+W eloped in Crested Butte among the wildflowers with their pup, Pancake. Later that day they celebrated with cake & ch*****ne and surprised their friends and family by telling them on FaceTime! 🌸🏔️ Truly such a fun day from sunrise to sunset. We’ll never get over this one 🥹

Idk the fact that your wedding venue can be a national park is insane. It only cost a few hundred dollars for the location, so you can splurge on other things that you value like photo & video, your honeymoon, etc. Plus, you’ll get the most epic wedding photos... period 👏

Maroon Bells is a great option for your Colorado elopement or micro-wedding- not only is gorgeous, but it is only $200 to reserve the amphitheater! 😍�
It’s a short walk from the parking lot and you can have up to 50 guests. It books up FAST though! The permit can be applied for one year in advance and includes your ceremony permit, access to the amphitheater and 5 vehicle passes for parking.
