Getting to photograph my husband at ADCC felt really full circle for me.
We met while he was working ADCC in Vegas when I still lived there. That weekend we joked about getting married someday and now here we are. We actually did it.
I’m always impressed by him, not just as an athlete but as a person. I’ve watched him pour everything into this sport, into his gym, into his people, and still somehow show up for me and the kids through every version of our lives.
He stepped into being a stepdad with so much patience, love, and consistency. He never made the boys feel like anything other than his own. Watching someone choose your children every single day is one thing, but watching someone choose you every single day through every season of life is something I’ll never take for granted.
Whether I was climbing the corporate ladder or walking away from it entirely to build my photography business from scratch, he never hesitated. He never made me feel crazy for wanting something different for myself. It was always “we’ll figure it out.”
And we always have.
Being able to stand on the sidelines at ADCC with a camera in my hand, documenting someone I love doing what he was built to do, was one of those moments I don’t think I’ll ever fully get over.
✨ please enjoy some of my favorite moments of him getting after it ✨
Ps still no sponsorship for either one of us 😅
