Since the B.C. Days the Israelites longed for Kings and leaders to deliver them and have someone rule over them, to lead them.
It’s in our nature to look for a deliverer To seek someone to drag us out and have all the answers.
I fall into temptation with this thought process and can easily fall into the brokenness of my humanness. Longing for a “savior” when caught up in the unknown and lose a grip of control.
But this longing for a savior and leadership is to be taken place by KING JESUS.
There’s never been a more perfect king to come reign at a time like this.
To bring liberation. Healing to the mind, soul, and body. To be peace.
His body is more than enough.
His body broken. Blood poured out. For brokenness. To be healing.
My heart cry is for the beautiful king Jesus to be enthroned. In a pandemic moment like today.
Seated in the highest of places he WILL do a GOOD thing.
I Will choose to REMEMBER that His character is one of healing and restoration.
One of Hope.
This generation will see His spirit being poured out. Sons and daughters prophesying. young men seeing visions, Old men dreaming dreams. (Acts 2:17)
I will not stand to say that we survived a virus. I will stand to say I’ve seen a move of God.
To say I saw a generation rise up and go against the tide of fear and control. awakened with fire in their eyes reflecting the face of a beautiful king. A generation taking ownership and leadership with kindness leading people into a place of faith.
Loosen heaven sons and daughter. Dream the dreams of the father for today.
Jesus is still on the throne.
