The Dietz’s day was so worth the wait.
Jordan and Kale came to be about a year ago, I signed them as my first wedding ever. In Wisconsin (YAY!). I was over the moon about the ideas they brought to me and trusted me with. In October of last year, I met them halfway in Dubuque for their engagement session and I got to truly meet and understand the people they are. They are some of the most kind, thoughtful, and genuine people you would meet. Their engagements were beautiful and so easy even though it was quite the frosty day in October (I was wearing a parka due to the chill…). They were some troopers!🩵
Over the past year I’ve gotten to know more about their story. These two have been together since highschool. Shortly after graduating, Jordan packed up and headed for Arizona to continue her education. They made it their mission to move their lives forward in a way that would continue to benefit the other. Kale held it down back home and saved up all of his money multiple times just to spend even a weekend with Jordan in Arizona. During their long distance journey, they allowed themselves to take it in and grow individually, but never abandoned one another. They named Jesus as the rock to their lives and relationship. They knew if it was in His will, it would be done. This continued to lead them back to eachother, stronger everytime. After a lot of FaceTime calls and letters in the mail, they were reunited. Stronger than ever before. Kale knew it was time. And offered her forever. She said yes. ☺️
This weekend, they rounded up their loving families and took them out to the cutest Airbnb in Wisconsin, and tied the knot. Because they know a cord of three strands is not easily broken.
