Walton reached out with a ring, a girl he really fu***ng loves, and a plan to propose in Savannah!

So we schemed 🤭

The where. The when. Where I’d hide. Where he’d stand. How we’d (try to) make sure Emma never suspected a thing.
And then I got to document it all happening.

The nerves before. The realization. The yes. The wait, let me see it again. The kissing. The laughing. And then wandering around Savannah together while the whole thing started to sink in.

Your proposal is a moment. Your engagement is a whole damn feeling.

Yes, there are lights. Cameras. Makeup artists. Timelines. Someone holding a phone up across the room.

And there is also a bride, catching a glimpse of herself in full bridal makeup for the first time and taking it in.

Both things are true.

A wedding day can be produced and still be deeply, beautifully real.

And isn’t that more interesting— the duality?
