Born in Detroit, Caprice Woods grew into an artist in Cincinnati, where she created several public murals and received awards for her work in the community. Caprice loves texture so deeply that she named her art company Textured Love Designs. She believes that texture creates emotion on canvas while colors add notes of depth to the piece. She manifests her dreams and desires into her art, channeling bold colors, textures, and African influences into an aesthetic that displays her unique insights. She is also devoted to her community, and hopes to help others, particularly children, express themselves through the visual arts.
