Screaming!!! BLUSH for 💓🌸🌷 My first beauty publication is live 🥹🥰

I’ve always been a natural light photographer, and I spent sooo long shying away from artificial lighting out of fear that I’d lose my personal photographic style. I’m truly so thankful that I took the leap and invested in a light setup!

I’ve been working hard to experiment with the lights and find my unique style within a new area of work, and it’s paying off 😇 Learning to retouch tends to be the most rewarding (and painful) part of the process (ie: that time I got eye strain so bad that my left eye was blurry for 72 hours 😵‍💫🫨) but I’m obsessed with the results.

SO thrilled to share “Vibrant Flora” — my first cover of 2024 for .magazine 🌟🌷💫

This year I set out with some simple goals — To connect, to create, and to grow.

When I was in college I loved creating digital collages; layering and playing with different images until I discovered what I didn’t know I was looking for. Once I graduated, I put away those creative explorations; boxed them up and set them aside while I focused on finding my path as a freelance photographer.

This project pushed me to reconnect with my creativity and forced me to grow, to expand my editing techniques and retouching styles. I just wish that I could go back in time and show 2018 Delaney where she ended up 🥹💞
