Weather in May on the north shore is unpredictable. Some days are 70 and sunny, and other days are, well, 40 degrees with wind and rain 😅 but Rhys & Davis stuck it out for me and we had the best time getting these moody elopement shots!

This is your sign to take your wedding photos at the Minnesota State Capitol.

The building has some beautiful stonework, interesting staircases, and adorable nooks & crannies. It is open to the public every day as it is owned by the public for the public.

You can also go right now to see some of the session meetings including house & senate floor sessions along with committee meetings. If you want to learn more about how government works/policy is made, there is no better way to learn than going to watch.

In fact, you can even sign up to testify for or against bills in committee sessions, which is the best way to have your voice heard besides trying to meet with your local representatives.

Show up & show out.

When you choose Valentine's day as your wedding day, embracing it is the best thing you can do (and, you'll never forget your anniversary!).

The deep reds, contrasted with the back & white make a beautiful contrast of wedding colors. Not only were the colors wonderful, the wedding was so fun and authentic to the couple! May and Noah are enjoying their road trip now with more of these gorgeous photos to come.

This Galentines day, remember to love yourself - and your body.

No matter your size, stage in life, relationship status, etc. Your body is always there for you, getting you through the work day and laughing with family and friends.

Hating it gets you nowhere - loving and nurturing it can get you anywhere.

A woman's body is incredible, and whether you choose to have children or not, are an Olympian or not, in a relationship or not. You are worthy of love, respect, and dignity.
