Hopefully the Tuesday morning algorithm gods will have favor on me, because THIS WEDDING.

I have gotten to photograph Kiley + Marco through so many pieces of their story, and somehow every time I get them in front of my camera I love them a little more. These two are just GOOD together. And Marco looking at Kiley like 😍 all day long certainly isn’t helping me narrow down this sneak peek. 😂 (head to the blog to see all 250 sneak peek images 🙈🫠😂🤷🏼‍♀️)

Their wedding was gorgeous. Like GORGEOUS gorgeous. A little rain tried to interrupt our plans, but it moved along and gave us the most beautiful evening afterward, so I’ll forgive it.

There were sister raps, hilarious speeches, a gelato cart, grandparents signing their marriage license, unbeatable levels of family sweetness everywhere I looked 😂 and just so many people who were genuinely excited to celebrate these two.

I could share approximately 700 photos right now, but I practiced restraint. Kind of.

Kiley + Marco, I love you guys. What a freaking day. 🤍

Kaleigh + Nathan. 🥹🤍

I knew I loved these two already, but getting to watch them together all day was THE BEST. Kaleigh is pure joy and Nathan just looks at her like she is his entire world 🥹🥹😭😭😭 And then five seconds later he’s going along with whatever ridiculous thing is happening because...Kaleigh. 😂 They just make so much sense together.

The whole day felt like that. Beautiful and elegant and emotional, but also SO much fun. Franklin made an appearance and somehow perfectly matched the wedding colors, everyone cried, everyone laughed, and then the entire guest list collectively decided they were going to spend the reception on the dance floor.

And they DID. 😂 This crowd can PARTY.

Just a really, really good day for two really, really wonderful people. I’m so freaking happy for you guys. 🤍

Okay, I know I keep saying it, but the seniors this year are SO GOOD. Every session I leave thinking, how did I get this lucky?!

Addison was an absolute joy. So sweet, so funny, and such a good sport when I had her walking all over Toledo 😂 And she DID. She was up for every idea, which meant we got to play around and make this session so fun!

I loved getting to spend the evening with Addison and her mom, talking and exploring and laughing a ton in between. Meeting people like these two really is one of my favorite parts of this job.

Addison, I hope you look at these and see exactly how freaking beautiful you are. I had the best time with you, and I hope you have the BEST senior year. 🤍

Wellllll beach minis were going great…until Michigan weather took a bit of a turn🫠

BUT we got FIVE sessions in before the storms rolled in, so honestly, I’m calling that a win. And a huge thank you to everyone else for being so flexible and rolling with the punches. Weather, amirite?!

Also, I am officially OUT OF OFFICE until Tuesday! I’m spending the weekend soaking up these last little bits of summer with my family before it disappears way too fast. Macayla will be manning the inbox in the meantime, and I’ll be back Tuesday!

For now, a tiny peek at our very short but very sweet night at the beach. 🤍

Ten years ago Riley and Evan got married here, and this week they came back with 2 1/2 kids in tow. 🥹 I mean…come on.

This was my first time meeting their family, and after having to reschedule once for rain, we ended up with the most gorgeous night. And I loved that we got to do it somewhere that already holds such a big piece of their story. Ten years ago it was just the two of them, and now they’re getting ready to become a family of FIVE.

The kids were an absolute blast, Riley and Evan were so easy to hang out with, and the whole evening just felt fun and relaxed. We played, explored, let the kids be kids, and I think we made some really beautiful pictures in between all of it.

Ten years can change a whole lot. I’m really glad I got to document what it looks like for this sweet family. 🤍

Okay, this one is a little personal for me. 🥹

When one of your best friends is also a talented photographer and she trusts YOU to photograph her brother’s wedding…you really, really want to get it right.

Thankfully Trent and Bre make that part pretty easy. 😂

I knew this one was going to be fun, but I really loved this day.

Their engagement session was a blast and wedding day was basically just more of that, except this time we added all of their favorite people. And their people are hilarious and so fun.

There were also so many sweet moments. Breanna’s first look with her dad got me, then she got emotional walking down the aisle, then Grant somehow managed to nail a perfect ceremony.

Mostly though, it was just really freaking fun to watch these two get married.

I love you guys. I’m so happy I got to be there for this one. 🤍

I was SO excited when Rachel reached out about Chloe’s senior pictures. I photographed her older sister a couple years ago, and getting to come back and do this all over again with Chloe was such a treat.

And listen, these girls are STUNNING.

Chloe was so easy to hang out with. We talked about what she’s involved in now, her plans for next year, and just wandered around making pretty pictures while also trying not to melt. She handled the heat, the bugs, and even a surprise snake sighting like it was nothing 🫠🫠🫠.

It was a little sweaty, a little buggy, apparently slightly dangerous, and SO worth it because I am obsessed with these.

Chloe, you absolutely nailed it. 🤍

Makenze was easily one of the coolest people I’ve ever met. 😂 She just has this ease about her that made the whole night SO fun. We hit it off immediately and somehow ended up talking about everything from life after high school to Gilmore Girls, Noah Kahan, our mutual love of iced coffee, and the fact that fall is obviously the superior season.

She’s funny, ridiculously kind, crazy smart, a dancer, a soccer player, a reader, and just genuinely fun to be around. I could have spent hours hanging out and photographing her...and honestly, I kind of tried. 😂 Sorry to her family for the session that never ends 🫠😅😂

But she made it too easy. I kept thinking of one more thing I wanted to try, and Makenze was down for all of it.

I absolutely loved this night. Makenze, you are the coolest and I’m SO excited for you to see the rest. 🤍

I always love getting to see the Melotti family, and it is WILD how much these kids manage to grow between sessions. They were so much fun this year and made my job ridiculously easy.

Earlier in the week Sunday looked like rain, then it turned into a beautiful sunny forecast. I probably checked the hourly weather 100 times that day and every single time the rain was coming well after we’d be done. Perfect.

Until I pulled into the parking lot 10 minutes before our session and suddenly it said 75% chance of rain basically the entire time we’d be there. 🫠🫠🫠 At that point, what are you gonna do? We went for it.

And somehow we got the ENTIRE session in. Pretty surroundings, happy kids, no rain. I got in my car afterward and I swear within about three minutes it started.

Sometimes the weather app just likes to keep me humble. 😂
