Be honest… and if you picked the ai/ stock photo….. we really need to talk.😬😅

Which one would you actually trust?

The perfect, generic stock photo
or the one that actually shows a real person, real interaction, real experience?

Because this is what people are deciding off of.

Stock photos might look “nice”
but they don’t tell me anything about your business.

-They don’t show your personality.
-They don’t show what it’s actually like to be there.
-They don’t make me feel anything.

The second one does.
And that’s the difference.
Not just photos…
actual documentation of your business and the people in it.

This is what working with me turned into for Aaron Thomas Interiors.

A full website refresh that actually reflects the level of their work.

Content they can consistently use across social without it feeling repetitive.

A portfolio that doesn’t just show their designs… but positions them at the level they’re operating at.

And ultimately, visuals that supported them in winning Designer of the Year for the unique design element with the Interior Design Society.

This is why I approach shoots the way I do.

Not just capturing spaces…
but documenting the work, the details, and the level behind the business so it translates everywhere it’s seen.

Because when your visuals match your work, everything clicks.

Not every pregnancy is glowing and easy.

Some look like multiple hospital stays in the last couple weeks…
Preterm labor scares…
Being told to slow down when life doesn’t exactly allow for it.

I’m currently 33 weeks, already dilated, and taking this whole thing day by day.

Some days I feel okay.

Some days just walking around brings contractions back.
And the unknown of “when will this actually happen?” sits in the back of everything.

It’s been a lot.
But I’m still here.
Still showing up the best I can.
Still thinking about my business, my clients, and what I’m building.

Just… a little differently right now.
I’m off shoots for the moment while navigating all of this, but I am booking for late May and June.

And honestly, I’m really excited to get back to creating and working with you guys again.

The focus. The pride. The way someone moves through their space like it’s exactly where they’re meant to be.

That’s the kind of story I love capturing. Not just the product or the service, but the human behind it and the passion that built it.

Because when people care this much about their work, it deserves to be documented. 📸

One thing I’ve realized working with businesses over the last bit is this:

Most people want photos of their work…
they just don’t know what kind of photos to take.

That’s where I come in.

Behind-the-scenes sessions are some of my favorite things to photograph because they show the real story of your business. The work, the process, the people, the little moments that actually make everything run.

And the best part?
You don’t have to plan a whole shoot.

You just do what you normally do.

If you’re not sure what would even be worth photographing, I’m happy to help come up with ideas. Sometimes it’s:

• documenting a normal work day
• capturing client interactions
• showing your process from start to finish
• product creation or prep
• the environment and details that make your space yours

You run your business.
I capture it.

One of my favorite parts of this work is when clients stop feeling like “clients.”

Not in a forced way.
Not in a weird way.
Just naturally.

Because when you trust someone with your business, with your story, your brand, your livelihood, there’s a level of openness that happens.

We talk life.
We talk growth.
We laugh.

We create things that actually matter.
That relationship is what makes the work better. It’s what allows you to show up as yourself and trust that it’s being captured honestly.

This isn’t just a service to me. It’s a partnership built on trust, comfort, and real connection…..and that’s exactly how I like to work.

I’m in a season of rebuilding my business but this time,

→I’m doing it intentionally.
→Not chasing trends.
→Not trying to fit into someone else’s version of “professional.”
→Not overloading myself just to look busy.

I’m focusing on working with businesses and brands who want visuals that actually feel like them real, honest, story-driven content that supports where they’re headed.

I know what it’s like to juggle being a business owner, a parent, and everything in between. My goal is to take one big thing off your plate and make showing up visually feel easier not heavier.
