I want more of THIS.

More businesses. More finished projects. More interiors. More brands. More people doing cool s**t that I get to step into and photograph.

But even more than that, I want more relationships with businesses where I’m not starting from zero every time.

I know what you do.

You know how I work.

Something new comes up and instead of thinking, “s**t, we need to find a photographer…”

you text me.

THAT is what I’m building more of.

BUT obviously I’m a little biased. 😂

So here are the actual receipts.

And while getting a good review always gives me the warm fuzzies, what means the most is what people say about the whole experience.

Feeling comfortable. Having fun. Being taken care of. And getting good photos at the end of it.

THAT is what I want every single time someone steps in front of my camera.

So yeah… I’m gonna let my clients brag on me for this one. 🤘🏼❤️

Hiring a photographer shouldn’t mean adding 47 more things to your to-do list.

You already have enough to do running your business.

You don’t need to figure out every shot, know where to stand, understand lighting, or magically know what’s going to look good.

Bring me into what you’re doing and let me handle that part.

I’ll ask the questions, find the moments worth capturing, direct when needed, and make sure we walk away with photos you can actually USE.

Basically, you do your thing.

Turns out starting my own business did NOT magically turn me into a polished business lady. 😂

For a while, I definitely thought it was supposed to.

Like maybe “professional Tori” needed to talk differently, post differently, dress differently, swear less, share less… basically sand down all the parts that made me….me.

F**k that. 😂🖕🏼

I can show up on time, communicate well, deliver what I promised, care deeply about my clients, take my work seriously AND drop an F-bomb.

Those things can, in fact, coexist.

And the more I stopped trying to make myself palatable to everybody, the more I started attracting people I actually fu***ng LOVE working with.

You know what you’re getting when you hire me.

Good photos. A photographer who gives a s**t. Probably too much yapping. And absolutely zero pretending to be someone I’m not.🤷🏻‍♀️

Building a business is weird because while everyone else sees the finished photos, the cool projects, and the fun shoots…

You see every tiny moment it took to get there.

And truthfully, a huge reason I went all in on this in the first place was because I was tired of feeling underpaid or undervalued.

Most of my experiences in my previous jobs were GOOD. I worked with great people, learned a ton, and gained experience I still use in my business every single day.

But eventually I had this realization of… if I’m going to work this hard, why am I not working this hard for myself?

So I did.

And turns out, betting on yourself is equal parts exciting, terrifying, “WTF am I doing?” and sending approximately 700 emails into the void. 😂 because let’s be real, no one can let you down nicely, you just get ignored 😂

But I think that’s also why I care so much about the people on the other side of my camera.

I know what it feels like to build something from scratch. To care WAY too much about it. To want other people to see the value in what you’ve created.

So getting to step into someone else’s world and document what they’ve worked their ass off to build?

Yeah. That part means a whole lot more to me than just taking a good photo.

Being a mom of 2 PLUS running a business is really just saying “I got it!” all day while internally being like… do I??? 😂

Somehow the kids are alive, the galleries are delivered, the emails get answered and I continue to show up with a camera in my hand. Who is in the same boat?

Is my brain running on 37 open tabs at all times? Absolutely.

But she’s running.

Technically, I make photos.

But what I really care about is how those photos make you feel.

Whether you’re a badass woman seeing the business you worked your ass off to build come to life or you’re looking at a portrait and finally seeing yourself with the confidence everyone else already sees in you…

I want you to feel proud. Powerful. Like, holy s**t…that’s freaking ME!!!

Because sometimes it’s about showing off what you’ve built.

And sometimes it’s about remembering who you are.
