May 22, 2024 Naval Academy Commissioning Day with The Blue Angels. Probably one of my top two or three favorite things to photograph. This day brings me such joy every year.

Everyone who knows me, knows that I HATE spiders...but for some reason the little tiny jumping spooders 🕸 don't bother me. So I got a little up close and personal with one today...

A little green heron fledgling was in the yard this morning!! I saw an "unusual" bird on the lawn so I grabbed my camera and he had made his way up to the deck rail. He hung out for a few minutes before he made his way to the shed and then a nearby tree.

Well, my Blue Angel photos didn't turn out spectacular this year as I'd wished. It was an overcast and hazy day, mixed with the smoke from the engines. It made for less than ideal conditions. I had to overembellish the editing which I don't like. But, there's a chance I may be going to an air show in June so I'll get to try again (hopefully).
