Turning O N E is so much fun!

I really enjoyed shooting at Linen and Light in Eldridge for the first time. It's such a great studio, and almost all of the props are provided! Evalyn's family did bring some special blocks and rocking chair that have been in the family for a long time, and it was really neat getting to include those in the photos. Evalyn is the CUTEST, especially her red hair!

A big THANK YOU to everyone that came to Sunday morning's event! We were able to raise $235 PLUS quite a bit of food! I'll be dropping it all off later this week and plan to split everything between two pantries.

Not bad for something that I didn't really have completely organized until just a few days prior! The turnout was better than I expected given the short notice, and I greatly appreciate everyone taking time out of their weekend to come. I hope you all enjoyed it too and that I delivered on the promise of it being fast and easy!

I will get those photos to you as soon as possible too! I have a couple of sessions to finish up first, but please watch for a link from me in the next week or so.

I'm hoping to make this an annual thing if my schedule allows

Today is the day! Please come see me, get a quick and easy fall photo, and help our community. I'll be at Black Hawk Park in the upper shelter near the Singing Bird Nature Center (use the QR code on the flyer for an exact location on Google Maps) until noon! I've seen seven groups so far already, and I'm hoping for lots more! It's a GORGEOUS day, and the leaves are at their peak.

If you're one of those people that wants just one photo for holiday cards or to frame of your family AND you want to help our local community, please read this!

I'll be at Black Hawk Park in the upper shelter (probably just barely past the parking lot...scan the QR code for an exact pin) between 9-10am and 11-12pm this Sunday, Nov. 2. I'll take your photo, edit it, and then send you a link to download the file via email. No need to set a specific time with me...just show up anytime between those two time slots. I do have a session between 10-11, so please be respectful of their time and know I won't be available then.

Please just bring $20 cash, 20 food pantry items, or the ability to Venmo me $20 when you arrive. ALL proceeds will be donated to a local food bank.

All I ask is that this is limited to immediate families only - this is not intended for large groups. Well behaved, leashed pets are welcome!

I'm running out of available times for full sessions, so this is a great way to still catch the peak of the fall leaves (hopefully) and get a family photo this year! You will only get ONE photo, but it will be quick and easy!

I'm not sure there's anything much cuter than a toddler in bib overalls. I was THRILLED when Ashlyn reached out to me about a fall session. I had the privilege working with their family for an extended family shoot earlier this year, and Kash used to be in class with my youngest and was always so sweet to her!

They clearly nailed their outfit choices, we had perfect weather, and Kash had me cracking up the whole time. Toddlers are so fun and hilarious. He is lucky to have two parents that clearly adore him too!
