You miss laughing until your stomach hurt.

You miss having friends who could show up at your house without texting first.

You miss summer nights that seemed to last forever.

You miss listening to the same song 20 times in a row.

You miss being excited about little things.

You miss the people who were once a huge part of your life.

And sometimes…

You even miss the person you used to be.

But here's the beautiful part:

That version of you isn't completely gone.

You can still laugh like that.

You can still make new memories.

You can still call an old friend.

You can still take a random road trip.

You can still stay up too late talking about absolutely nothing.

Maybe growing up isn't about getting your old life back.

You realize some of your favorite memories happened on completely ordinary days — days you didn't know would become memories.

That's the part nobody warns you about.

Life doesn't usually change all at once.

One year.

One lost friendship.

One new responsibility at a time.

2016 was 10 years ago… and somehow it feels like yesterday. 😭

Remember when:

📱 Snapchat filters were everywhere
🎮 Pokémon GO had everyone walking around outside
🎵 You had a playlist for every mood
😂 Vine videos were the funniest thing on the internet
📸 Every photo had that Instagram filter
💬 And we actually called people instead of just texting “lol”

Life felt… simpler.

No AI everywhere.
No endless notifications.
No feeling like you had to document every second.

Just music, friends, random adventures, and memories you didn’t realize would become nostalgic.
