Ashlyn absolutely killed her senior session! We started at Coquina Beach and then made our way to Bodie Island Lighthouse, and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. A storm had just rolled through, leaving us with the most beautiful dramatic skies and the perfect backdrop for her photos.

Ashlyn, you were a dream to photograph! I hope you have the most amazing senior year filled with memories, laughter, and all the excitement that comes with this next chapter. Enjoy every minute of it!🤍

Wildflower Minis were a SUCCESS!

We thought Saturday was going to be a complete washout, but the rain held off and gave us the most beautiful sunset for these sweet sessions. The flowers, the light, and all of my amazing clients made for such a beautiful evening!

🌼 Wildflower Mini Sessions at Backyard Wildflower Patch 🌼

Join me for beautiful golden hour wildflower photos at the gorgeous Backyard Wildflower Patch in Chesapeake!

📅 Date: Saturday, August 22
⏰ Time: 5:40 PM – 7:40 PM
📸 Session Length: 10 minutes
💲 Investment: 75

To accommodate as many families as possible, these will be 10-minute mini sessions. If you’d like a little more time, you’re welcome to book two back-to-back time slots for a 20-minute session.

Please note that Backyard Wildflower Patch is a private venue with multiple photographers working throughout the evening. After booking, I’ll email you all of the venue’s guidelines and instructions. You’ll also need to complete a required online waiver before your session, and I’ll provide the link and directions.

These minis are perfect for families, couples, maternity, seniors, children, or anyone wanting updated photos surrounded by stunning wildflowers during golden hour.

Spots are limited and will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis.

🌸 Wildflower Mini Sessions - Interest??
I’ve had several people ask if I offer wildflower photos, and while I don’t have a wildflower field locally, I found a beautiful one in Chesapeake!

I’m thinking about offering 10–15 minute mini sessions for around $50 on a Saturday or Sunday evening (depending on the farm’s availability). If you don’t mind the drive, this could be such a fun way to capture some beautiful end of summer photos!

Before I book a date, I’d love to see how much interest there is.

Congratulations to Holly and Wayne on your beautiful marriage! It was such an honor to capture your intimate elopement at the Norfolk Botanical Garden.

The gardens were absolutely stunning, with gorgeous scenery around every corner. We spent two hours exploring different areas, and there was no shortage of incredible locations for portraits. Every path, garden, and backdrop seemed more beautiful than the last, making for the perfect setting to celebrate the beginning of your new chapter together.

Thank you both for allowing me to be part of such a special day. Praying your marriage is filled with love, joy, laughter, and God’s abundant blessings as you begin this new chapter together.
