i see so many of my clients sharing the photos i took for them, which truly means the world to me🤍 but one thing i rarely see is photographers being tagged, and i think a lot of people genuinely don’t realize how important that small gesture is for small businesses + creatives.
behind every session is hours of work most people never see. planning locations, watching the weather, finding inspiration, cleaning props, setting up, researching lighting, editing for hours, and putting so much care into making your photos feel like YOU.
for photographers, word of mouth is honestly everything. a simple tag when posting your photos helps your friends + family know who captured those memories and makes it so much easier for small businesses like mine to grow naturally. so many of my bookings come from people sharing my work, and i’ll forever be thankful for that support.
and truthfully? sometimes photographers don’t always hear feedback after delivering galleries, so when clients share their images, tag us, or even just tell us they loved their photos, it means more than you probably realize!
tagging your photographer is such a small thing, but it’s one of the sweetest ways to support an artist whose work you love.
and this goes for all small businesses and creatives too!
