I wonder how many completely ordinary moments we’re living right now that we’ll desperately miss someday.
The way they still reach for your hand.
The little gap in their teeth.
The way they fit against you when you pick them up.
The laugh they haven’t grown out of yet.
That’s probably why I’ll never get tired of photographing families.
Because sometimes a photograph doesn’t feel important until the version of them in it doesn’t exist anymore.
