I am an amateur photographer and travel/history enthusiast from Florida. My love of photography began in 2005 with the purchase of my first digital camera. Shortly afterwards, I started an online web gallery to share the photos with friends and family. Since then, the interest in my photography has grown and so has my topics. By 2009, the site expanded to the travel site "Around the World in Pictu

res", a collection of photos from the places I have visited along with the stories behind them. Then in 2011, the site expanded once again with the addition of two new pages "Above the Clouds" and "Touch Em All". The latest expansion was as a result of the demand for my aircraft and baseball photography. What has started as a way to share photos to friends and family has grown to an internet collection of over 12,000 photos nearing 1 million visitors. I am not a professional nor do I make money off the photos or stories. It is simply a project of mine to help get the photos out there for everyone to enjoy. Each railcar carries more than passengers—it carries stories, history, and the reminder that every journey has purpose. As the tracks stretch ahead, unseen beyond the horizon, I’m reminded how often our own path feels the same… guided step by step, even when we can’t see where it leads.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

Just like these rails, God lays the path before us—steady, intentional, and leading exactly where we’re meant to go.

There’s something sacred about slowing down long enough to hear the whispers of the past… 🌿

Tucked away along Florida’s Gulf Coast, Koreshan State Park invites you into a story unlike any other—a community that once believed heaven could be built right here on earth. As I walked beneath the towering oaks and along the peaceful Estero River, I couldn’t help but reflect on the deep longing we all carry for something eternal.

Stepping onto the grounds of Ca’ d’Zan feels like walking into another world—one shaped by beauty, ambition, and a longing for something greater. Overlooking Sarasota Bay, this Venetian-inspired mansion reflects not just the legacy of the Ringlings, but the human desire to create something lasting.

As I wandered its terraces and stood where the water meets the sky, I was reminded that even the grandest earthly treasures are fleeting. Yet moments like these—filled with awe, reflection, and quiet peace—point us toward something eternal.

Sometimes the most meaningful journeys aren’t the longest—they’re the ones where we finally slow down enough to listen.

Just behind the Sugarlands Visitor Center in the Great Smoky Mountains, the short walk along Fighting Creek Trail leads to Cataract Falls—a quiet, hidden cascade tucked into the forest. It’s an easy, peaceful path, with the sound of the creek guiding you every step of the way.

Standing at the falls, watching the water flow steadily over the rocks, I was reminded of this truth:

“He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.” — Psalm 23:2–3

You don’t have to hike miles into the wilderness to experience God’s presence. Sometimes, it’s found on the simplest paths… just waiting for us to notice.
