For all of my moms, I wrote this for you today ❤️
Photographing newborns is weird. I get to see you as you step into this new phase in your gentle and sometimes not so sure. I can see that you love this little baby and that your whole world is now changed in both the best and scariest ways. Then I get to see you the next time you come to see me. You have maybe a few months or years under your belt. I get to see the way you effortlessly care and now you understand your baby’s language before they can even talk. I think that’s my favorite thing about being a new born photographer. Not only do I get to see it as you step into this new role I get to see you as you develop it. I get to see you make it look effortless. The way you care, your smile, and the way their little eyes light up when you pick them back up. These moments I see that your heart is walking around you. And there’s no place you’d rather be, and I’m so thankful I get to witness that❤️
