I don’t know if I say that enough, but that’s how I feel in this work.

Honored to be welcomed into your lives, you homes, your transitions, your joy, your grief, your in-between moments. Honored to help hold onto the memories that already feel precious while they’re happening.

A new baby. A beloved dog. A family in the middle of so much love.

Some stories are tender in ways words can’t quite hold. I’m just grateful I get to preserve a little piece of them.

This one was morning time, right here in Louisville.

Yes, I’ll always love the big mountain views. The drama. The light. The whole Colorado postcard situation.
But the little places close to home?

The trail you walk after dinner.
The ice cream shop your kids beg for.
The field they run through.
The spot that feels like your life right now.
Those can hit even harder.

A meaningful location doesn’t have to be epic.
It just has to feel like you.

As a mom of two boys myself, I think I’m extra sentimental about sessions like this.

There’s just something about photographing sons with their mom that gets me every time.
Even when they’re big, even when they act a little too cool for it, there’s still so much softness there.

Feeling the end-of-year chaos creeping in. We’re busy. Plenty of curveballs. So much joy still finding its way in.
