One of my biggest regrets as a mom is not getting in more photos WITH my family. As a photographer, I’m sure you can imagine I alwayssss have my camera in hand ready to capture alllll the things. But never me in those memories with them. Even if it’s just setting your phone up on a tripod, DO IT!!

I am taking a handful of September and early early October babies and then my books are getting closed for the holidays!

Here’s my top tip if you have a session coming up:

Bring some bug spray! If you’re good with some more natural options, I’ve got you covered (“scrunchy” mom over here). This is my favorite time of year for outdoor sessions because the flowers are blooming and the grass finally has rich color back in it. But mannnnn those Alabama bugs are a different kind of crazy!

Dusting off the cobwebs on my socials (well sort of).

With the weight of the world feeling so heavy recently, posting has been kind of the last thing on my mind. I've been feeling a tug to be a little more intentional about being where my feet are day to day.
