This time last year, I met Dr. Holmes for the first time...

Not as a photographer. 📸
Not as a nurse. 🏥
But, as a patient. 💕

I was scared out of my mind. A breast MRI showed a questionable area. A Lumpectomy was needed.

We sat in her office and she spent over an HOUR answering my questions, laying down a plan for all the many possible outcomes.

DCIS. MASECTOMY. ONCOLOGY. TAMOXIFEN. We talked it all. And I left that appointment more at peace than I had been in months. And thankfully, after a successful surgery, all was clear.

Fast forward to this year. The Lord brought us back together on a fun project, where I got to capture her 📸 doing what she loves.

So thankful for the blessing she is to this community and all the patients she touches. 🫶

There's a first time for everything. ✨

Sometimes you just have to say, “I haven’t done that before… but I’ll give it a try.” 🤍

And I’m SO glad I did.

Getting to capture the moment a family announces that their little one is on the way was pretty special. 🥹

So thankful for clients who trust me to capture the moments they'll want to remember forever. 🫶

She's watched her brother from the sidelines for over 4 years.

⚽️ Cheered with the other feral siblings

And although I've been a soccer mom for a few years, nothing prepared me for when it was my daughter's turn!
