I was supposed to photograph the proposal in January, but of course it took place on the biggest snow storm of the year. They still got engaged, witnessed only by the banks of snow and sparkles in the cold air. We postponed photos until this summer; we wandered the rose garden where one of their earliest dates was, I got to hear all about the plans for next June's wedding, and I drove away grateful to have met these two.

I'm heading mostly offline for the next couple of weeks to spend time with family, in my favorite place in the world. I'll tell you more about it sometime, because I have some photos I want to share with you. But for now- I'll share some photos from recent sessions over these couple of weeks.
