Whimsical Wednesdays ✨ Personalized portrait sessions designed to help you feel confident, expressive, and completely yourself. Wednesdays in September from 9 AM–6 PM for $150.

Labor Day 🏠 Goodbye work, hello family! Celebrate the people who make life meaningful with a family session at Kiwanis Park on September 7. Sessions are $100, with special pricing of $80 for police, military, and medical working families.

Grandparents Day 🤍 Celebrate the love and memories shared between generations on September 11 at Brookside Park. Sessions are $100.

Sons and Daughters Day 🫶 Capture the special bond between parents and their children on September 19 at Brookside Park or Natureside Nature Park. Sessions are $100.

Fall Equinox / Hobbit Day 🍁🧚 Add a little autumn magic to your portraits sessions on September 22 at Among the Waters Trail or Berg Park. Sessions are $100.

🌸 Wildflowers 🌸

Recently up in Colorado I took in smaller moments. My favorite was seeing this only bloomed flower on a branch so I had knelt down to capture it. Unknowingly, it was feeding a bunch of bugs. Some flew off as I got closer, but I found a few more eager for a dip in their flower rather than worry about me.

The blues on the wings of the insect, the contrasting stigmas red, the intricate veining of the petals. Everything about the moment was beautiful and I just wanted to share! This is a Richardson’s Geranium - Wildflower ✨

✨ VIVA LAS VEGAS ✨

From slot machines to sculpted pieces to intricate architecture to nature in the city to fancy chandeliers at every turn to live music in every bar. Vegas literally has everything. I’ll tell you this though, you miss a lot of it if you are too intoxicated by alcohol or the sheer business of the city. You have to look around - especially up, you have to be willing to pause in the crowd, and you have to move slowly in one of the fastest moving cities, to really take all of her beauty in.

As much as I don’t like to gamble or drink, I never thought I would find fun in a city that never stops doing both. But as someone who loves sparkly things, intricate designs and structures, and being enveloped by people - Vegas has all of that. Make sure the next time you visit, keep some quiet clarity and just look around. Vegas is beautiful and so are the people in it!

🥰 A Stroll Paused In Time 🥰

After I got back from Vegas (those photos are coming, jeez!) I got to relax for a bit by the river with this momma and her two babies. Dexter started his freshman year THE DAY we did these photos, and little Anya just turned four! It was so blissful to hear about how motherhood evolves from child to child, how fast these moments pass us, and how grateful this momma is to be so close to her kids. It was a little treat I didn’t know I needed, seeing such a close bunch just enjoying each other.

My lesson with this session was obvious; make sure you don’t let these moments pass! They only stay kids for so long 🤍
