The Love Seat Legacy. I bought that faux leather, love seat recliner for $300 at the Big Lots in Oak Hill, WV in maybe 2008 or so. It was the most I'd ever spent on one piece of furniture but I really wanted it. Over the years it saw hundreds of movies, morning coffees, Sudoku games, warm fires by the wood stove, tons of naps, and a few girlfriends.
I brought it up to Kent with me, hoping for the best, but my tiny apartment (about the size of a dorm room but fortunately without any roommates) it just wouldn't fit.
So I drove around with it in the Uhaul, trying to keep it out of the dumpster. Fortunately the SAE fraternity knows the value of a fine piece of reclining furniture and in true college campus style, parked it right on the front porch.
Hopefully it will continue to give them as much love as it gave me and may it never be lit on fire.
